What is this website about?
This website is basically a professional platform for the complete dental fraternity to come together and discuss everything about their profession.
Is this only for dental professionals?
Yes this site is to, by and for the dental fraternity! Yes there are lab technicians, hygienists and other dental related people who are invited. But this site would probably not be of much use for other medical professionals, unless they are invited for a discussion or a chat session. Other than this, no one else can read the contents of this site, except for the home page and few forum posts.
Can a common man see this?
The common man can only read the home page and a few forum pages. This is done so that all the members can freely discuss all their doubts, problems, mistakes, and mis-happenings without worrying about the common laity reading it and doubting the dentists’ capabilities. Our medical field is such that we are constantly learning throughout our life and our study knows no end, which is impossible for the common man to understand, so we had to keep this restriction.
Do I have to pay to get registered?
No. The registration is free, and always will be!
What if I suggest a treatment and it is not right or correct?
For this reason we have kept a discussion board under every topic. Your suggestions will be reviewed and discussed by different doctors, including its benefits and complications. And every dentist here will have a liberty to talk, discuss and suggest whatever they feel like.
I do not like a certain comment… How can I deal with it?
Like said earlier every dentist here has the right to discuss whatever they want, even if it is in conflict with other dentists. U can respond to any comment the way you like, keeping general ethics of our profession in mind.
Can I suggest some more additions to this website?
Of course you can and we would love to improve this website. There is a ‘contact us’ column where our e mail addresses are provided, you can mail us anytime!
What if my patient sees this website?
The registration of this web site requires your permanent practicing registration number as a mandatory field. So a common man would not be able to access or read any of the discussions or topics posted.
Can I get in touch with an experienced dentist through your web site?
Yes definitely! We will have an Expert Panel solving any matter with regular chat sessions, web seminars and course information.
What if a name of a dentist appears where it should not be, such as on funny incidents?
Dentists will be requested not to post anybody’s name anywhere. They are free to put their name if they wish to, but not mock at anyone’s mistakes or incidences.
What do you do to prevent names of a dentist from appearing on the website?
Such content will automatically be filtered and thus be removed from the website.
Can I ask questions?
Almost every topic has a discussion board at the end where one can post a topic and its related question.
How quickly do I receive answers to my questions?
This depends on your question and the activity of that discussion.
I don’t want this website to end in a blame game! How can you avoid this?
This web site will only be a medium of connecting dentists all over the globe. Everyone is liberal here to post their ideas, suggestions and views about anything. Since we all have similar ethical thoughts as doctors, this is something we would not expect.

Yes of course! We need new ideas to grow and improve and the source here is you! The suggestion will be tried by different members here.
How is this website different from the bookish knowledge?
Please remember that we here aren’t criticizing any books and their knowledge. These are timeless efforts by great clinicians. This is just a more convenient way of gaining knowledge with active interaction amongst members.

How can I present a case?
You can either post it on the photo album with description and appropriate tags, or post it on the forum section.
Are there any guidelines on clicking photographs?
We have taken expert guidance on helping dentists click perfect photographs for exhibition and record purposes. You can follow your own guidelines too!
Are u biased towards any specific dental brand?
We might prefer some material of a specific company to our colleagues, which does not mean we are biased or negative towards the rest. Its just our views and opinions.
